New to Woods N Water: Along with being able to sell you all of your appropriate hunting and fishing licenses; we can now register your boat, ATV and snowmobile right at our store! Walk out with your stickers and ride! The only vehicle that we cannot register at this time is a UTV. Check out the DNR website for info on registering your UTV.

Become a Friend of the Iron River Fish Hatchery! The Iron River National Fish Hatchery has 1200 acres of land ranging from cedar lined springs, mature hardwoods and conifers, and finally changing into sand barrens along the highlands. This diverse group of habitats supports a diverse population of plants, amphibians, mammals, and birds. Along with the land comes about 4,000 gallons of spring water each minute. This water flows constantly across the property in many small streams and finally into the hatchery buildings where it supports over a million fish. Visitors may see the fish, view abundant wildlife, or just enjoy the silence only broken by the call of the wild. Trails are being developed for your use, or bushwhacking is also allowed.
